WHAT IS AN EPOSTERBOARD?

ePosterBoards are the future of poster presentations! One board consists of a large format, 48-inch flat panel monitor, a stand, a touchscreen Surface tablet, and assorted cables.

Friday, October 17 | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM EDT

Session Schedule:

  • Session 1: 10:00 – 10:45 AM

  • Session 2: 11:00 – 11:45 AM

  • Session 3: 12:00 – 12:45 PM

  • Session 4: 1:00 – 1:45 PM

Venue:
Metcalf Ballroom
775 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, MA

Presenter Check-In Times:

  • Session 4: 8:00 – 8:30 AM EDT

  • Session 3: 8:30 – 9:00 AM EDT

  • Session 2: 9:00 – 9:30 AM EDT

  • Session 1: 9:30 – 10:00 AM ED

Presentes: Approximately 54 presenters per session

Presentation Time: You will have 45 minutes to present your poster display to Symposium attendees. Be sure to prepare a short summary of your research, and practice with your peers! More tips and resources coming soon.

Presentation times will be assigned by September 18. Once assigned, your time cannot be changed. Please ensure that you notify your professors of this commitment well ahead of time." - perhaps in between event details/agenda and check in for poster presentation

Abstract Submission

All students funded by UROP during summer 2025 must submit an abstract and complete the program survey via this form. 

If you were not funded by UROP this summer, but are volunteering to present at the UROP symposium, please complete the Volunteer Presenter Abstract Submission Form. 

All Abstract Submissions Forms are due by 11:59PM on Wednesday, August 27."

 

Check-In for Poster Presentation on October 17

Check-in at the Technical Support Help Desk in the Metcalf Ballroom according to your session time:

  • 8:00–8:30 AM – Session 4 Presenters

  • 8:30–9:00 AM – Session 3 Presenters

  • 9:00–9:30 AM – Session 2 Presenters

  • 9:30–10:00 AM – Session 1 Presenters

Before You Arrive:

  • Remember to submit your ePoster prior to the event by the deadline.

  • Bring a backup of your ePoster on a thumb drive.

  • Test your ePoster at your assigned station, if you are having difficulties, please let us know so we can help.

    • Slide Size: 40.97 x 23.04

    • Font Size: 28 pt or larger

    • Save file as Lastname.Firstname
