OVERVIEW:
Abstract Judges will review and score submitted abstracts ahead of the AMSA RMC event.
Judges can access their assigned abstracts and their submission ballot from April 14th 10AM CT— April 25th at 12:00PM CT.
You will receive two emails from the Abstract Review Platform, Submittable:
An email to setup your account email username and password [Between April 8th-April 9th]
An email with abstract platform overview information will be sent on April 11th. The formal review process will go from April 14th- April 25th. Ballots need to be complete by 12PM CT/1PM ET on April 25th so the notifications to students can be compiled.
April 30th- May 9th- Students will revise their abstracts and resubmit
May 14th- May 19th- Abstract Review of Student Revisions

Abstract areas:
In 2025, the program is focusing on the following general areas within the meat science discipline. Abstract submissions should fit into one or more of these categories. If you feel the abstract should be in a different category, please complete the rest of the review before making this recommendation.

Abstracts will be judged on the quality of the following aspects with a score of 1-5 with 5 being the best:
5- Excellent (Accepted)
4- Very Good (Accepted)
3- Good, accepted with Minor Revisions
2- Poor, accepted ONLY with Major Revisions
1-Rejected
